The window on the Mangart - Bright APT in the Alps

Bright flat that can accommodate up to 3 people in Cave del Predil, a hamlet of Tarvisio (UD), famous for the enchanting lake of Predil (or Raibl), located in the vicinity of the geomineral park, the Polo Museale and the Military History Museum of the Julian Alps.
Tarvisio is the strategic point to visit Austria and Slovenia, to discover the Fusine Lakes and the typical cuisine of the Valcanale, to take splendid walks in the Millennial Forest or to reach the peaks of the Julian Alps.

The 45 sqm apartment is located on the ground floor of a building without a lift.

ATTENTION: it is necessary to climb some steps to reach the accommodation on the ground floor.
The shower is not flush with the floor, you need to climb a step to enter.

The internal space is divided as follows:

- KITCHEN with dining area, induction hob, oven, electric oven, fridge, freezer, traditional kettle, moka, Nespresso coffee machine and kitchen utensils;
- LIVING AREA with sofa bed and TV;
- BEDROOM with double bed, wardrobe and dresser;
- BATHROOM with toilet, bidet and shower.

Additional services available to guests: central heating, drying rack, iron and ironing board, hairdryer.

Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee).

The entire house is for the exclusive use of guests during the stay.

IDs of all residents must be shown upon check-in as required by Italian law.

- 24:00 - 01.30: € 40,00.

Cave del Predil is famous for its splendid lake with clear waters, framed by a suggestive landscape. Furthermore, the lake (1 km by car from the accommodation) is the protagonist of a curious legend, according to which once there was a town where the lake now stands. According to the story, the town was flooded by the waters due to the cold and insensitive soul of the inhabitants who refused to host a woman and her child (the Madonna and baby Jesus), who eventually found shelter at the house of a kindhearted family. It is said that the remains of the small house on the islet of the lake are those of the only house that survived the flood that punished the inhabitants, that is the same one belonging to the family of the story, which was spared.

In Cave del Predil it is also possible to visit the Polo Museale, which unites the Military History Museum of the Julian Alps with the International Geo-mining Park, created following the interruption of the mining activity to make it open to the museum of mining tradition, Miniera Lab , which combines the experience of visiting the mine with a documentary journey.

A grocery shop, a bar and a restaurant / pizzeria are 500 m away.

From Tarvisio you can easily reach the ALPE ADRIA cycle path, frequented by thousands of cyclists to reach Villach, Kranijska Gora and the splendid Adriatic coast of Grado passing through Aquileia, the second largest city of the Roman Empire.

Tarvisio is a very popular tourist destination throughout the year: in the warm months for its cultural and naturalistic richness, in the cold months for the attractions related to winter sports.
All around the center of Tarvisio, the municipal area is dotted with fascinating villages and unmissable naturalistic itineraries.

Thanks to its particular position close to the border, it is a crossroads of languages ​​and cultures where Italy, Slovenia and Austria meet. The excellent cuisine includes Friulian, Carinthian and Slovenian specialties.

Tarvisio is also the destination of numerous pilgrims thanks to the suggestive Sanctuary of the Madonna del Lussari, a place where tradition tells that an apparition of the Madonna took place.
