Palazzo dei Normanni Stylish Apartment

This 130sqm apartment can accommodate up to 8 people. Located on the first floor, without a lift, of an ancient building located few steps from the Palazzo dei Normanni, the apartment is a few minutes walk away from the Cathedral and some of the main points of interest in the city.
The apartment is located within the city center restricted traffic area.
It is possible to park (for a fee) at the garage in Via Sulle Mura di Porta Montalto 3.

The inside is organized as follows:

-BEDROOM 2: mezzanine with double bed, split A/C, corner with two chairs and stools.
-BEDROOM 3: double bed.
-BEDROOM 4: single bed, split A/C, desk.
-BEDROOM 5: single bed, split A/C, armchair.
- KITCHEN: 4-burner stove, refrigerator, electric oven, kettle, split A/C, access to the terrace.
-BATHROOM 1: shower, double sink, bidet and wc.
-BATHROOM 2: shower, bidet and wc.
-BATHROOM 3: shower, bidet and wc.
-TERRACE: outdoor table and chairs.
-BALCONIES: access from double bedroom and single bedroom.
-OTHER SERVICES: unlimited wifi, 5 split A/C with heat pump, iron and ironing board, drying rack, clothes stand, hair dryer.

Bath towels and bed linen available for all guests.
If you're travelling with childrens, please pay attention to the bedroom steps.

Guests will have full access to all the areas of the house, and there are no shared spaces.

The apartment is located a few steps away from Palazzo dei Normanni, also known as Palazzo Reale, in a quiet area well served within the ZTL.
Walking throught the city and thanks to public transportation (in Piazza Indipendenza you can find several lines stops) you can easily reach the city's main points of interest: the Palermo Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, the "Castello della Zisa", the Cappuccini Catacombs, the Teatro Massimo, the Martorana Church, the Fontana Pretoria, being struck by the historic charm of Palermo's buildings and streets.

Walking through the city center it is possible to find characteristic restaurants, bars and pastry shops where you can fully enjoy the characteristic culinary tradition of the city, tasting products and typical dishes renowned throughout Italy and the world. In this regard the Pasticceria Cappello (few minutes walks away from the apartment), famous for his seven-layer cake, deserves a special mention.

In the neighborhood you can easily find all services and comforts you need during your stay: pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants and bars.

-From Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport: you can reach the apartment by train stopping in Palazzo Reale-Orleans station, 350m away from the apartment.

-From Palermo Train Station it is possible to reach the apartment by "ARANC" public transportation to Cadorna stop, 2 minutes walk away from the apartment.

PLEASE NOTE: For those traveling by car, the apartment is located within the City Center Restricted Traffic Area. Please pay attention to accesses and schedules.
It is possible to park at Via Sulle Mura di Porta Montalto 3 Garage, for a fee.
Alternatively you can find parking slots, for a fee, in Children's Hospital sorrounding area (immediately outside the Restricted Traffic Area).

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the city tax (€2,00 per person per night of stay).
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Palermo Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Self check-in will take place in this accomodation. It is MANDATORY to complete the registration in order to receive instructions to collect the keys and access the apartment.
The keys can be collected for free via smartlock on site.
In case of problem, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10:00 pm.

For check-in from 9.00 pm to 1.30 am, if you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request, with payment of a supplement equal to:
- EUR 15 from 9.30 pm to 11.00 pm
- EUR 20 from 11 pm to 00:00
- EUR 30 from 00:00 to 01:30 am
It is not possible to check in after 01:30, not even for a payment.
