The property is located in Ostuni a few minutes walk from the historic center, in an area equipped with all useful services such as bars, grocery stores and restaurants. The flat offers every kind of comfort with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a very cool tavern on the lower floor for relaxation or reading and a furnished balcony. Parking space in the driveway included!
The 170 sqm apartment is located on the ground floor of a building with an independent entrance from the street (there are two steps to access it).
It is divided into two levels and there are two stairways: an internal one to access the tavern (with safety gate) and an external one that leads from the kitchen to the parking lot.
On the ground floor we find:
- KITCHEN with gas hob, fridge, freezer, electric oven and moka
- LIVING ROOM with sofas, TV dining table
- BEDROOM I with double bed, wardrobe and en suite bathroom equipped with wc, bidet and shower box
- BEDROOM II with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
- BEDROOM III with double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
- TOILET outside the rooms with wc, bidet and shower box
- Small BALCONY with table and chairs x2.
Downstairs, with access from the living room, we find:
- TAVERN of 20 smq with sofa, armchair and dining table.
Additional facilities available for the guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, 2 uncovered parking spaces inside the gate, 4 fans, independent heating, washing machine, mosquito nets, drying rack, iron and ironing board.
Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee).
N.B .: The fireplace in the living room does NOT work.
The apartment is at guests' disposal!
All identity documents of the guests must be presented on arrival as required by Italian law.
The keys will be collected from 15.00 to 21.00 in our office in Corso Mazzini 201 in Ostuni, a 5-minute walk from the apartment.
After 21.00, check-in directly at the apartment is available with the following supplements:
- 21.00 - 23.00: € 25.00;
- 23.00 - 24.00: € 30.00;
- 24:00 - 01.30: € 40.00.
The city tax of 1.00 euro per night per person will be charged in cash, for the first 5 nights, as provided by the municipality of Ostuni.
Ostuni is located in the province of Brindisi at more than 200 meters above the sea, in Murgia, and it's one of the most renowned cities in Salento.
The White City is named after the color of a large part of its buildings, mostly in the historical center. In the past, because of the plague, the walls of the houses were covered with lime, in order to make them antiseptic. Hence the characteristic white color that makes Ostuni unique and iconic.
The historical center of Ostuni, called by its inhabitants as "La Terra", is characterized by a maze of winding roads, little squares and gardens, alleys and glimpses of the Adriatic sea.
The lower part of the city is surrounded by the old city wall, where the only two still intact entrances are located: Porta Nova and Porta San Demetrio.
On top of the hill you can find the Cathedral, with its large rose window divided in 24 parts, Palazzo Vescovile and the old Seminario.
Another place of interest is the Museum of Preclassic Civilizations of the Southern Murgia, where the cast of a pregnant woman, Delia, who lived 25.000 years ago and was found in a cave near the city in 1991, is preserved.
Among the most interesting exhibits there are pottery and ornaments, flints, stone tools, from the paleolithic till the age of the metals.
One of the main attraction for tourists in Apulia is definitely the coast of Ostuni, where you can find Rosa Marina, Monticelli and Costa Merlata beach areas.
And, to conclude, don't forget to try all the typical dishes!
The accommodation is located outside the ZTL and can be reached by car. It is possible to park inside the courtyard in the driveway, where up to 2 cars can stay, or for free on the street in the immediate vicinity (NOT guaranteed).
