From the apartment you can reach the Duomo in less than 15 minutes on foot, passing through streets and alleys full of shops and restaurants. The most lively and near street is via Nazionale, full of all kinds of shops and not too expensive.

Occasionally, one Sunday a month, the Antiques Market is held in Piazza Indipendenza. Open-air benches with furniture and objects from the past.
All the major tourist attractions are easily reachable on foot in a few minutes.
Many private parking lots in the area, but the most convenient one is a side one at the Fortezza.
Downstairs a great bakery, bar, pastry shop.
Excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity: Le Fonticine in via Nazionale and Zazà in Piazza del Mercato.

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, it is possible to reach the flat in about 30 minutes, following this steps: take the LAM PO-FI bus line and get off at the Vivaldi stop; here take bus line 17 and get off at the "Indipendenza XXVII Aprile" stop, 180m from the flat.

From the Santa Maria Novella station, you can reach the apartment in 10 minutes on foot.
