Corte 14.15 - Apt Portone with terrace and pool

Comfortable apartment renovated in keeping with local tradition, located inside Corte 14.15, a characteristic period Salento structure dating back to the 1800s. The accommodation is equipped with the main comforts to accommodate 2 people, including a private terrace and shared swimming pool. It is located in the upper part of the old historic center of Matino, 500 meters from the station, in a convenient position to reach the sea, just 12 km away, and the other unmissable places in Salento.

The 30 mq apartment is located on the mezzanine floor: there are a few steps to access it, three flights of stairs (about 20 steps) to reach the terrace and 1 internal step between the kitchen and the bedroom.

The internal space is composed as follows:
- Fully equipped kitchen with dining table and small kitchenette with two gas burners, mini fridge with freezer and coffee machine
- Bedroom with double bed, open wardrobe, chest of drawers, TV and split A/C
- Bathroom with wc and shower box

Outside, in the courtyard shared with the other guests of the structure, there are:
- Private terrace equipped with table and chairs
- Open patio (separated by curtains) with table and chairs

SHARED with the other guests of the court:
- Swimming pool open from May to September, hours of use 10-13 and 15-20
- Laundry room equipped with washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board.

Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Matino is a charming village in Salento, which is located less than forty minutes by car from Lecce, among the Serre Salento where the hill of Sant'Eleuterio stands. In the historic center it is possible to admire the ancient underground oil mills dug into the limestone rock and, walking through the characteristic streets and narrow alleys, it is easy to come across the numerous courtyards and houses painted in white. There are countless monuments to visit, including the Palazzo Marchesale "Del Tufo", dating back to the 1500s, and the Mother Church, the oldest monumental testimony of the town. Matino is also an excellent starting point for exploring Salento, being located a short distance from unmissable places such as Gallipoli, Castro and Santa Maria di Leuca.
The accommodation is located in the upper part of the historic center and the basic services are close at hand: bars, supermarkets and pharmacies are in fact within 500 metres.

- From Brindisi Airport, it is possible to reach the apartment in about 2 hours by PUGLIAIRBUS to Lecce and then by bus line 20710 - UniLE with the final stop "Matino - Via Extramur di Ponente 2" a 10-minute walk from the accommodation (800 meters).

- From Matino station, the accommodation can be easily reached on foot in 7 minutes (500 metres).

- If you travel by car, ATTENTION the accommodation is located in a pedestrian alley and can NOT be reached by car. We recommend leaving the car in Via Verdi or Via Diaz, 100 meters from the accommodation.
