Etna View House with Garden and Private Parking

Large villa of 175 square meters, organized on two levels, able to accommodate up to 6 people. The accommodation, overlooking Mount Etna, boasts four balconies and a private garden. The property is located in Trecastagni, a locality in the Etna villages which is a perfect starting point for visiting the majestic Etna Park. The nearest sea is about 12 km away in Acireale and towards the north it is possible to visit Taormina and Giardini di Naxos!

The inside is organized as follows:

-> GROUND FLOOR:
- LIVING ROOM with sofa, two armchairs, TV and access to the balcony;
- KITCHEN with two dining tables, fridge with freezer, gas hob (4 burners), oven, moka coffee maker, kettle, kitchenware, wine glasses, balcony with access to the garden (a few steps);
- BATHROOM with shower (raised), sink, bidet and toilet;

-> FIRST FLOOR:
- BEDROOM I with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and access to the balcony;
- BEDROOM II with double bed, TV, wardrobe and access to the balcony;
- BEDROOM III with double bed and wardrobe;
- BATHROOM with bathtub, sink, bidet and toilet.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE: unlimited wifi, independent heating, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer.

Private parking space in the garage. ATTENTION: to access the garage there is a rather steep descent (reversing the exit, with some vehicles, could be difficult). The garage is not suitable for large vehicles (SUV type); however, in the surroundings of the property there are many free (NOT guaranteed) car parks.

PLEASE NOTE:
- If you are traveling with small children, please pay attention to the internal stairs to reach the upper floor; there are also steps at the entrance and to access the garden.
- NO air conditioning.

The house is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Catania Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Self check-in will take place in this accomodation. It is MANDATORY to complete the registration in order to receive instructions to collect the keys and access the apartment.
The keys can be collected for free via smartlock on site.
In case of problem, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 00:30 (half past midnight).

For all late check-ins from 21:00 to 00:00, If you wish to collect the keys from a member of our staff, in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
From 21.00 to 23.00: EUR 25
From 23.00 to 00.00: EUR 30
Late check-ins are not available after midnight.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

The accommodation is located in the municipality of Trecastagni, within the Etna Park. The territory is hilly and surrounded by various volcanic cones of different ages and sizes (Monte Ilice, Monte Gorna, Monte San Nicolò, Tre Monti, Monte Serra). The particular conformation of the surrounding area, characterized by a steep slope towards the underlying municipalities of Viagrande and San Giovanni la Punta, makes the position of Trecastagni particularly panoramic: the view ranges from the southern end of Calabria to the Gulf of Augusta, in the Syracuse area.

To reach the main points of interest:
- Rifugio Sapienza (departure for the Etna tour): 30 minutes by car (23 km);
- Acireale: 25 minutes by car (13 km)
- Catania: 33 minutes by car (18 km)
- Giardini Naxos: 40 minutes by car (35 km)
- Taormina 50 minutes by car (50km);

- Antichi Sapori Trattoria Siciliana (restaurant): 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot;
- Sicily Kiosco Bar: 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot;
- ARD Discount: 3 minutes by car or 15 minutes on foot.

The best way to visit the area is by car (it is possible to rent a car at Catania Fontanarossa Airport). Inside the structure there is a parking space in the garage; in the surroundings of the property there are many free parking spaces (NOT guaranteed and NOT bookable).
