Palazzo Calò Apartment

Comfortable apartment, can accommodate up to 7 people, located in Palazzo Calò, an elegant eighteenth-century period building in the heart of Taranto. Enviable position: one step away from the University, the Doric Columns and the Aragonese Castle and an 8-minute walk from the National Archaeological Museum. In 5 minutes by car you can also reach the Ponte di Pietra, with connections to the industrial area, the Eni factory, the Mercantile Port and ILVA.

The apartment is located on the first floor of Palazzo Calò, a period building with no elevator: you need to climb the stairs to access it.
The interior space is organized as follows:

- semi-habitable KITCHEN with console and stools and kitchenette equipped with induction hob, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, combined oven with microwave and kitchen utensils;
- BEDROOM I with double bed, French bed on the mezzanine, TV, wardrobe, internal bathroom and split A/C;
- BEDROOM II with double bed, TV, wardrobe, internal bathroom and split A/C;
- BEDROOM II with double bed, wardrobe, TV, internal bathroom and split A/C;
- BATHROOM I inside bedroom I with shower, washbasin, bidet and WC;
- BATHROOM II inside bedroom II with shower, washbasin, bidet and WC;
- BATHROOM III inside bedroom III with shower, sink, bidet and WC;
- BALCONY at the entrance of the apartment equipped with table and 2 chairs.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi SKY, heating with heat pumps, air conditioning (split in all three rooms), washing machine, hairdryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board.

PLEASE NOTE: the front door of the building and the front door of the apartment open with a code that will be provided at check-in.
It should be noted that to reach the French loft bed in bedroom I there is a spiral staircase.

ATTENTION: the area outside the entrance is under video surveillance for security reasons.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Taranto Climatic Zone C: 9 hours a day from November 22nd to March 23rd

Please note that check-in after the specified time must be agreed directly with the structure and provide a supplement as follows:
- 21.30 - 23.00: € 25.00;
- 23.00 - 24.00: € 30.00;
- 24.00 - 01.30: € 40.00.

The accommodation is located in the Borgo district of Taranto, a very central area and ideal for any type of stay. We are located in the immediate vicinity of the Doric Columns and the Aragonese Castle, symbol of the city dating back to the Byzantine era, in the heart of the historic center with its unmissable monuments: the marvelous San Cataldo Basilica Cathedral and the suggestive Spartan Hypogeum Museum, to name just a few . We are also just an 8-minute walk from the renowned National Archaeological Museum, containing one of the largest collections of Magna Graecia artifacts, and a 15-minute walk from the Lungomare and its beautiful gardens. The area is full of shops and restaurants, and is equipped with all essential services: within 450 meters there are bars, restaurants and a pharmacy, the first supermarket is 900 meters away.

- FROM KAROL WOYTILA - BARI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment in a total of about 1 hour and 35 minutes with the PUGLIAIRBUS line to the Piazza Della Libertà stop and then with bus line 16 to the final stop in Piazza Castello, 2 minute walk from the property.

- FROM TARANTO-GROTTAGLIE AIRPORT: the most convenient way to reach the apartment is by taxi.

- FROM TARANTO CENTRAL STATION: the apartment is easily reachable by bus line 16 with the final stop in Piazza Castello, a 2-minute walk from the property.

- IF YOU TRAVEL BY CAR: the accommodation is located in a pedestrian area and can NOT be reached by car. It is possible to park for a fee at the Largo Piazza Castello car park, less than a 5-minute walk from the accommodation.
