Calipso APT with Sea View, Parking & Pool

Comfortable 87 sqm apartment that can accommodate up to 6 people, located on the second floor of a building with lift (not suitable for people with disabilities). The property is located in the center of Taormina and from the balcony it is possible to admire the view of the city and the sea.
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room with kitchenette, terrace, balcony, private parking space and a shared swimming pool for free for our guests.

The apartment is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with double sofa bed, tv, dining table, split A / C, access to the terrace.
- KITCHENETTE with gas hob, fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, moka.
- BEDROOM 1 with double bed, wardrobe, TV, split A/C and access to the terrace.
- BEDROOM 2 with double bed, wardrobe, TV, split A/C and access to the balcony.
- BATHROOM I with sink, shower, bidet and toilet.
- BATHROOM II with sink, shower, bidet and toilet.
- TERRACE furnished with dining table and sea view.
- BALCONY.
- Free uncovered CAR PARKING inside the property (not suitable for large vehicles).

OTHER SERVICES: A/C with heat pumps, unlimited wifi, iron and ironing board, clothesline, washing machine (on the balcony), hairdryer.

The POOL is for shared use and guests will have a deckchair at their disposal. Opening hours: 10:00 - 19:00.
The swimming pool will be open from 1/06 to 30/09.

Taormina is a city center full of artistic and naturalistic wonders. In the village, a visit to the Roman Theater (Odeon Theater) and the Ancient Theater (Greek Theater), as well as the Cathedral and the Castle, is a must. The beaches adjacent to Isola Bella, the boat ride to the spectacular Blue Grotto and the splendid town of Giardini di Naxos are unmissable destinations during your stay! To eat, you are spoiled for choice: typical Sicilian specialties and sweets can be tasted at the Barcaiolo, Trattoria da Nino, or the Al Saraceno Restaurant Pizzeria.
The cable car is only 6 minutes away on foot, with which you can reach the beaches of Mazzarò and Isola Bella in just 3 minutes.

- Corso Umberto (main street): 10 minutes on foot;
- Ancient Theater: 10 minutes on foot;

The historic center of Taormina is closed to traffic: you will therefore have to leave your car in one of the three main car parks in the city or in the private parking on the property.
The nearest one to our apartment is "Lumbi parking", with reasonable weekly and monthly prices. Lumbi Parking offers a free shuttle bus service to the centre of Taormina. It runs:
- from Sunday to Friday from 7:00 am (first ride from the parking) to 0:50 am (last ride from Piazza San Pancrazio).
- on Saturday from 7.00 am (first ride from the parking) to 1:50 am (last ride from Piazza San Pancrazio).
The nearest stop to our apartment is only 250 metres away.

From Catania-Fontanarossa airport, it is possible to reach Taormina by:
- Bus of the Interbus company to Taormina.
- AMT Alibus to Catania station, where you can take the regional train to Taormina train station.
- Taxi from the airport (about 55 minutes).

From Taormina station, it is possible to reach the center with the buses of the Interbus company.

Taormina is well connected with all the most beautiful destinations in Sicily (the Valley of the Temples, Syracuse, Palermo, Piazza Ermerina, Mount Etna, etc.), also through numerous organized trips.

It is also possible to reach on foot, with a long walk, or by urban bus the near town of Castelmola with a panoramic view of Taormina, where it is possible to taste the delicious almond wine (we recommend to stop at the characteristic "Bar Turrisi", for very ironic people).

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax (EUR 3 per person per night, for the first 10 nights only, as requested by the Municipality of Taormina).
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Taormina Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

For all late check-ins from 20:30 to 00:00, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following:
EUR 25 from 20:30 to 22:30
EUR 35 from 22:30 to 00:00
Late check-ins are not available after 00:00

Silence from 22:00 to 8:00.
