This bright 50sqm apartment with balcony can accommodate up to 4 people. Located on the first floor, without lift, of a typical Syracusan building, the apartment is located a few steps away from Temple of Apollo and Ortigia Market.
The property is located within the Restricted Traffic area, ideally located for visiting the city on foot, immersing yourself in the characteristic atmosphere of the Ronchi and the alleys of Ortigia

The inside is organized as follows:
-BEDROOM: double bed, split A/C, wardrobe, desk, chair.
-LIVING AREA: sofa bed, Smart TV (no antenna), dining table, access to the balcony overlooking the main road.
-KITCHENETTE: induction hob, fridge, kettle and moka.
-BATHROOM: washing machine, shower, bidet and toilet.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, split A/C with heat pump, fan, iron and ironing board, clothesline, clothes stand, hairdryer.
Towels and bed linen included (with optional changes for a fee).

Availability on request of cot and high chair for children.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are happy to organize early check-in when there are no other guests leaving the apartment on that same day; however, it will not be possible to arrange late check-out. If you need assistance for luggage storage, we can recommend you an affiliated structure.

The apartment is located a few steps away from the Temple of Apollo, one of the most important monuments in Ortigia, the first one to have been erected in Syracuse. Datable to the beginning of the 6th century BC it is therefore the oldest Doric temple in Sicily, and it is possible to admire its remains directly from the apartment terrace located on the second floor.
In three minutes on foot you can easily reach the daily market (every day except Sunday), a typical market full of local products and street food, where you can shop and eat local delicacies. The stalls of fresh fruit, vegetables and seasonal vegetables are the masters in terms of colors. The stalls of fish and crustaceans represent a typically Sicilian uniqueness and it is possible to find many of the Mediterranean fish varieties. Don't miss the Sicilian cheese and cured meats shops, true delicacies of the Sicilian tradition.
The apartment is close to the mini bus stop, this will allow you to move easily around the city and reach the Archaeological Park of Neapolis with its Greek Theater, the San Giovanni catacombs, the Paolo Orsi museum, the Sanctuary of the Madonnina delle Lacrime, the natural reserve of the Ciane river on whose banks grows the papyrus, the protected marine natural area of ​​Plemmirio (paradise for hikers and walkers), the bus and train station.

In the area you will find many other services such as bank, post office, mini markets, restaurants, bars, shops and much more.

- From Catania airport it is possible to reach Catania Train Station, where it is possible to take the Regional / Intercity train to Syracuse. It is possible to reach Ortigia by public transportation (electric bus).

PLEASE NOTE: Ortigia is located in the Traffic-Restricted Area -ZTL in Italian- (closing days and times depending on the season).

A member of our Team Siracusa will contact you a few days before your arrival to organize your check-in. They will meet you at the apartment to hand you the keys and they will be at your disposal for any information and further assistance before and during your stay. All guests' IDs must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.

From 15:00 to 19:00, check-in will take place in presence.

After 19:00, self check-in will take place (free of charge). Further instructions will be provided a few days before your arrival.

Alternatively, after 19:00 check-in in presence will also be available upon request and with a supplement to be paid in cash on arrival, as follows:
EUR 25 from 19:00 to 23:00;
EUR 30 from 23:00 and 00:00;
EUR 40 from 00:00 to 01:30.
All requests for late arrivals are subject to confirmation by the property. The last possible check-in, even by paying the supplement, is 01:30.
