La Casa di Giò - Stazione & Policlinico Apartment

Comfortable apartment furnished with taste, with a suggestive architecture with high vaults, able to accommodate up to 5 people. Very convenient location: just 10 minutes on foot from Central Station, 5 from Quintino Sella station (with connection to the airport) and in the immediate vicinity of the Policlinico. The lively seafront, the beating heart of the city with its events, clubs and shops, and the center of Bari can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.

The 70 mq accommodation is located on the ground floor of a period building (there are 4 steps to access it) and is composed as follows:

- Kitchenette equipped with gas stove, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, electric kettle, dishwasher, traditional oven and microwave;
- Living room with dining table, sofa bed, split A/C and smart TV
- Bedroom I with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, split A/C smart TV
- Bedroom II with single bed and wardrobe
- Bathroom with wc, bidet and shower box

The keys of the entrance door are located in a safe with a code, which will be provided at check-in.

Additional facilities available for the guests: UNLIMITED WIFI, independent heating, washing machine, dryer, drying rack, vacuum, iron and ironing board.
Towels and linen are included (with additional linen optional for a fee).

7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax due to the Municipality of Bari equal to €2 per person per night, for the first 4 nights.
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Bari is a city that over the years has made the historic center a place of urban aggregation for young people and adults alike, thanks to the presence of trendy and sophisticated clubs as well as many attractions for tourists who love culture. There are many events and manifestations such as the San Nicola Fair in May, and, especially, the Levante Fair, an international exhibition, which takes place in September. The Fair aims at encouraging exchanges between the East and the West, of which Bari is traditionally the most important meeting point. It is also only a 20-minute walk from the historic center and the renowned “N'derr alla lanz”, the temple of raw Bari fish, and5-minute walk from the Central Station of Bari. All the services needed for a comfortable stay are within walking distance: supermarkets, bars, pharmacies are in fact within 300 meters.

- FROM KAROL WOYTILA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the FR2 train to Bari Centrale station, 800 meters from the accommodation.

- FROM BARI CENTRALE STATION: the apartment is easily reachable in 10 minutes on foot.

- IF YOU TRAVEL BY CAR:
ATTENTION: parking under the house is prohibited. It is necessary to park in the nearby streets for a fee on blue lines or free on white lines (NOT guaranteed). Alternatively, it is possible to park for a fee at the Gestipark car park in Piazza Giulio Cesare, 350 meters from the accommodation.
