Comfortable 126 sqm apartment on two floors in a building NOT equipped with a lift (stairs to access) in the historic center of Catania, 15 minutes walk from the Ancient Greek-Roman Theater and 20 minutes from Piazza del Duomo. The location is strategic for visiting the city and the area is full of services such as bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The accommodation can accommodate up to 5 people.

The internal space is organized on two floors as follows:

1ST FLOOR:
- LIVING ROOM/ENTRANCE with wooden sideboard and chest of drawers, chair with desk;
- FULL KITCHEN with induction hob, dining table with chairs, TV, refrigerator, electric oven, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils and access to the balcony;
- BATHROOM with raised shower cubicle, sink, bidet and WC;
- BEDROOM I with two double beds, wardrobe, TV, chest of drawers, sofa, bookcase and split A/C;
- BALCONY with access from the kitchen;
- CLOSET;

2ND FLOOR:
- BEDROOM II with double bed, TV, wall wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair and split A/C;
- BATHROOM with raised shower cubicle, sink, bidet and WC;
- BALCONY with access from the bedroom;
- LAUNDRY ROOM with washing machine.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited WIFI, fan, baby cot, hairdryer, drying rack, iron and ironing board.

ATTENTION:
- Building NOT equipped with a lift (stairs to access the apartment);
- Internal stairs to reach the upper floor of the apartment;
- No heating:
- Raised shower box in both bathrooms;
- Quiet hours: 22.00-8.00.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax.
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Catania Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

N.B. completing the registration is MANDATORY to receive instructions and access the apartment.

We inform you that assistance for any problems related to check-in with automated access is possible (remotely) until 11:00 PM

In this property the keys are in a safety deposit box. Further information will be provided at the time of booking.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

City tax payment will be required.

The apartment is located in the historic center of Catania, a few steps from Porta Garibaldi. The excellent location allows you to visit all the main points of interest in the area on foot: Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of Sant'Agata, the historic local market, the Benedictine monastery, the Ursino Castle, the Greek-Roman theater, the Vincenzo Bellini opera house and the garden of the same name.
Walking through the streets of the city you will come across numerous clubs, restaurants, bars and pastry shops, where you can enjoy the renowned cuisine and typical products of the region, known throughout Italy and the world.

The area is well served by public transport, with bus stops a few steps from the accommodation, facilitating access to the historic center and beyond.

- Ursino Castle: 17 minutes on foot;
- Piazza Duomo: 18 minutes on foot;
- Sant'Agata Cathedral: 18 minutes on foot;

-From Catania Fontanarossa airport: you can reach the apartment by bus from the ALIBUS terminal to the "Stazione Centrale" stop. Here, change lines and continue by bus to the "746" stop, a 10-minute walk from the property.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi (journey time approximately 10 minutes).

-From Catania Centrale station: you can reach the apartment by bus lines, with stops not far from the property.

-For those traveling by car: you can park at the paid parking lot "Autorimessa Smap Car", in Via Grotta Magna, a 10-minute walk from the apartment.
