Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Florence Climatic Zone D: 11 hours a day from November 8th to April 7th.

The apartment is located in the south Florence area, in the Gavinana district, a quiet area, but at the same time full of services (bars, supermarkets, restaurants).
The area is well served by public transport, so it is possible to easily reach the center by bus, but also by bicycle or with a pleasant walk. Once you reach the center, it will be possible to move comfortably on foot between the various attractions of the city.

- From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, it is possible to reach the apartment as follows: Line T2 to the "Rosselli" stop, then take line 353A from "Montelungo" stop and get off at "Salutati Gavinana" stop, a 2-minute walk away from the accommodation.

- From Santa Maria Novella station, the property can be reached by taking bus 31 or 32 from "Beslan T1 Fortezza" stop (a 6-minute walk from the station) to "Bracciolini Gavinana" stop, a 2-minute walk from the accommodation .

- The apartment is located outside the Restricted Traffic Area, therefore it can be easily reached by car and it is possible to park (for a fee - not included) near the property.
