Carla's House! Galileo Room

Private room in the Casa di Carla, a small house from the early 1900s where there are five other rooms, with a shared kitchen and relax area.

We are in the Gavinana district, a residential area full of shops, restaurants and clubs just 10 minutes by car from the historic center.

The private room comfortably accommodates two people, and is ideal for stays of two, for work or leisure purposes.
For those who prefer a well-stocked and quiet location.

Room located on the first floor of a small villa of the early 1900s, without a lift, where there are other private rooms used for tourist purposes. Shared garden and relax area.

The shared kitchen is on the ground floor and is equipped with coffee machine, refrigerator, microwave and various utensils.
In the room there are split air conditioning, free wifi, television and small desk.
Bathroom with shower, toilet, bidet and hairdryer.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the city tax (€5,50 per person per night of stay).
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Florence Climatic Zone D: 11 hours a day from November 8th to April 7th.

Self check-in will take place in this accomodation. It is MANDATORY to complete the registration in order to receive instructions to access the apartment.
In case of problem, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 11:00 pm.

For check-in from 9.00 pm to 1.30 am, if you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request, with payment of a supplement equal to:
- EUR 25 from 21:00 until 23:00;
- EUR 30 from 23:00 until 00:00;
- EUR 40 from 00:00 until 01.30
All requests for late arrival are subject to confirmation by the property.

We are in one of the best residence areas in Florence, peaceful and green. Away from the noisy historical center which full of tourists, but very easy to get there. Here you live as the locals. Just 1,1 km from the river Arno. You can enjoy the beautiful views walking along the river, there is a park along the river starts from here too, perfect for who likes running, walking or cycling. Less than 5mins walk you can arrive the commercial center, there is a big supermarket COOP.
You can find bars, restaurants, shops, ect. everything around here.

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, you can reach the apartment as follows: take the Line T2 and get off at the "Rosselli" stop, then take line 353A and get off at the "Viale Giannotti" stop, just 200m from the flat.

From Santa Maria Novella station, the structure can be reached in less than 20 minutes, by the 350A line with the final stop "Viale Giannotti", just 200m from the apartment.

The flat is located outside the Limited Traffic Zone, therefore it is easily reachable by car and it is possible to park on the street.
