Via Etnea Cozy Apartment with Balcony

Cozy 70 sqm apartment, perfect for two people, located on the third floor of a period building in good condition with a lift (NOT suitable for disabled people). The property is located along via Etnea, the main shopping street in Catania, and a few minutes on foot from the main attractions of the city, such as Villa Bellini, the Roman Amphitheater and Piazza del Duomo.
The accommodation consists of living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony.

The inside is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with sofa, armchair, TV, dining table for 2 people and access to the balcony;
- KITCHEN with gas hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, kettle, moka, microwave oven and kitchenware;
- BEDROOM with double bed, desk, wardrobe and access to the balcony;
- BATHROOM with shower, sink, bidet and WC;
- BALCONY.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: pocket wifi (MAX 60 GB per month), air conditioning (splits in the bedroom and living room), independent heating, washing machine, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer.

PLEASE NOTE: there are two steps to access the apartment and internal steps to access the kitchen. If you are traveling with children, pay attention to the bird deterrents placed on the balcony.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.

All guests' IDs must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.

For all late check-ins from 21:00 to 00:00, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following:
From 21.00 to 23.00: EUR 25
From 23.00 to 00.00: EUR 30
Late check-ins are not available after midnight.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

The city tax must be paid upon check-in: €2.00 per person per night of stay.

The apartment is located in Via Etnea, the main shopping street of Catania, a few minutes on foot from the main services, including a pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Furthermore, by using public transport or, alternatively, with a walk, it is possible to reach all the main points of interest in the city, such as Piazza del Duomo and the Cathedral of Sant'Agata, the historic local market, the Benedictine monastery, Castello Ursino, the Greek-Roman theater, the Vincenzo Bellini opera house and the homonymous garden.
Walking through the streets of the city, it is possible to come across the many bars, restaurants, and pastry shops where it is possible to enjoy the renowned cuisine and typical products of the region, known throughout Italy and around the world.

To reach the main points of interest:
- Villa Bellini: 4 minutes on foot;
- Roman Amphitheater: 10 minutes on foot;
- Massimo Vincenzo Bellini Theater: 16 minutes on foot / 12 minutes by public transport;
- Piazza del Duomo and Cathedral of Sant'Agata: 18 minutes on foot / 14 minutes by public transport;
- Benedictine monastery: 20 minutes on foot / 25 minutes by public transport;
- Ursino Castle: 23 minutes on foot;
- La Playa beach: 10 minutes by car (5.5 km).

- From Catania Fontanarossa Airport: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service to the Central Station, where it is possible to take bus n. 433 to “Bellini - Statue Garibaldi” stop (8 stops), a 2-minute walk from the property.

- From Catania Central Station: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking several buses, including bus n. 433 to “Bellini - Statue Garibaldi” stop (8 stops), a 2-minute walk from the property.

- For those traveling by car: street parking is available for a fee (blue lines) near the property. Alternatively, there are several garages (for a fee) around the property.
