Comfy apartment of 68 sqm located on the first floor of a building WITHOUT a lift (stairs to access), in the historical center of Catania, a few steps from the main points of interest of the city. 10 minutes on foot from the Roman Theatre, 14 minutes on foot from Piazza Duomo and the Basilica della Collegiata.

The property is perfect for 4 people, consists of a bedroom, living room with kitchenette, bathroom and two balconies. The apartment is ideal for a pleasant stay in the beautiful Catania!

The apartment is located on the first floor of a building WITHOUT a lift (stairs to access).

The interior space is composed as follows:

-BEDROOM with double bed, single bed, Smart TV, two closets, desk with chairs, split A/C, access to the balcony;
-LIVING ROOM with single sofa bed, Smart TV, dining table with chairs, access to the balcony;
-KITCHENETTE with gas hob (4 burners), refrigerator with small freezer, coffee maker, microwave, various utensils, wine glasses, access to the balcony;
-BATHROOM with shower, bidet and toilet;
-BALCONIES (2).

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: Unlimited WIFI, washing machine, iron and ironing board, drying rack, hairdryer, heating only via split (bedroom).

ATTENTION: Heating is only via split A/C and is only present in the bedroom.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents and to pay the city tax (€2,00 per person per night of stay) via our Guest Portal.
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Catania Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

For all late check-ins from 21:00 to 00:00, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following:
From 21.00 to 23.00: EUR 25
From 23.00 to 00.00: EUR 30
Late check-ins are not available after midnight.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

The apartment is located in Catania city center, just a few steps from San Giuliano Church, a district renowned for its Baroque-style buildings. In a few minutes on foot you can easily reach all the main points of interest in the area: Piazza Duomo and Sant'Agata Cathedral, the historic street market, the Benedictine monastery, the Ursino Castle, the Greek Roman theater, the opera house Vincenzo Bellini and the homonymous garden.
Walking through the streets of the city you will come across many bars, restaurants and pastry shops where you can enjoy the renowned cuisine and typical products of Sicilia region, known throughout Italy and the world.
In the neighborhood you can easily find all the comforts you need during your stay: pharmacy, supermarket, restaurants and bars. A few steps away, it is possible to find Via Etnea, a renowned shopping street in the city center.

-From Catania Fontanarossa airport: it is possible to reach the apartment by bus from Capolinea Alibus stop to "Archi uscita Porto", continue with the bus n. 431N to the stop "Vittorio Emanuele II Est", 2 minutes walk from the apartment.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi (journey time approximately 14 minutes).

-From Catania Centrale railway station you can reach the apartment via public transportations lines: 902/ 642/ 632 from the stop Piazza Giovanni XXIII f/co farmacia (MOB2) with stop Via V. Emanuele, 1 minute walk (120m) from the property.

-If you're travelling by car: you can park in the street for a fee (blue stripes) or at the paid parking "Autorimessa Smap Car", in Via Grotta Magna, just 11 minutes walk from the apartment.
