Castello Normanno Modern Sea View Apartment

Cozy apartment of about 70 square meters, able to comfortably accommodate 4 people, located on the raised ground floor (1 step to access it) of a modern building. The property is located in Aci Castello, a seaside village just 10 km from Catania, just 50 meters from the sea and a 3-minute walk from the spectacular Norman Castle, which gives the town its name.
The apartment consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a bedroom, a bathroom and a balcony.

The inside is organized as follows:
- LIVING ROOM with KITCHENETTE (gas hob with 4 burners, fridge, oven, microwave and various kitchen utensils), dining table, double sofa bed, TV and access to the balcony;
- BEDROOM with double bed and wardrobe;
- BATHROOM with shower (raised), sink, bidet and WC;
- BALCONY with table and chairs.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning (split in the living room and bedroom), independent heating, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.

All guests' IDs must be shown upon check-in, as required by Italian law.

For all late check-ins from 21:00 to 00:00, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following:
From 21.00 to 23.00: EUR 25
From 23.00 to 00.00: EUR 30
Late check-ins are not available after midnight.

Upon arrival, you'll be asked to pay a city tax of EUR 1 per person per night, for the first 3 nights only, as requested by the Municipality of Aci Castello. People under 14 are exempt.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

The property is located in Aci Castello, an ancient seaside village located 15 meters above the sea, a few kms from Catania. The name Aci Castello derives from the castle built in 1076 by the Normans on a nearby lava stone hill, just 300 meters from the property. The Norman Castle dominates the main square of the town, bordered by a long balcony from which it is possible to admire the sea below and the suggestive Riviera dei Ciclopi. The nearby "Chiesa Madre" is of particular architectural interest, with notable frescoes by Pietro Vasta.
The apartment is located in an area equipped with the main services (bars, restaurants and a supermarket), just 50 meters from the seafront. Within 1 km there are several seaside resorts, such as Lido Acquarius.
