Catania Central Comfy Apartment

Comfy apartment of 66 sqm with private entrance, ideal for up to 5 people, located on the ground floor of a building. The location is great! We are in the historic center of Catania, just minutes from some of the main attractions, including Piazza Duomo, Castello Ursino and Teatro Bellini, both reachable on foot and by public transport. Catania Station is less than 10 minutes' walk from the apartment.

The inside is organized as follows:

- LIVING AREA with KITCHENETTE (with gas hob, fridge with freezer, moka coffee maker, kettle, oven and kitchen utensils), double sofa bed and dining table;
- SLEEPING AREA ON THE MEZZANINE with double bed, single sofa bed and wardrobe;
- BATHROOM with shower, washing machine, washbasin, bidet and WC.

FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pump (a split), drying rack, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

PLEASE NOTE: to reach the mezzanine there are stairs inside the apartment. Please pay attention if traveling with children.

The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests and won't be shared with the host or other tenants.

We are very flexible and are happy to organize early check-ins/late check-outs when there are no other guests entering or leaving the apartment on that same day. All requests will be confirmed a couple of days before your arrival.

To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents and pay the Tourist Tax (2,00 EUR per person per night) via our Guest Portal.
We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).
Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.
Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.
Catania Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.

Self check-in will take place in this accomodation. It is MANDATORY to complete the registration in order to receive instructions to collect the keys and access the apartment.
The keys can be collected for free via smartlock on site.
In case of problem, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 00:30 (half past midnight).

For all late check-ins from 21:00 to 00:00, If you wish to collect the keys from a member of our staff, in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:
From 21.00 to 23.00: EUR 25
From 23.00 to 00.00: EUR 30
Late check-ins are not available after midnight.

In case of incorrect waste disposal in compliance with the rules that will be explained to you at check-in, a penalty of € 150 will be charged.

The apartment is located in a central area, less than 10 minutes on foot from the Central Station and all the main services, including pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Furthermore, with a walk it is possible to reach the main points of interest in the historic center, such as Piazza Duomo and the Cathedral of Sant'Agata, the historic local market, the Benedictine monastery, the Ursino Castle, the Greek-Roman theater, the opera theater Vincenzo Bellini and the homonymous garden. In addition, the accommodation is well served by public transport.
Walking through the streets of the city, it is possible to come across the many bars, restaurants, and pastry shops where it is possible to enjoy the renowned cuisine and typical products of the region, known throughout Italy and around the world.

- From Catania Fontanarossa airport, it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service to the Central Station, a 10-minute walk from the property.

- From Catania Central Station, it is possible to easily reach the apartment on foot in about 10 minutes.

- For those traveling by car: street parking (blue lines) available for a fee around the property (NOT guaranteed and NOT bookable). Alternatively, it is possible to park for a fee (with free time slots) at "Il Pino" car park, in via Maddem 4, a 13-minute walk from the property, open 24 hours a day.
